Pre-Existing Condition Insurance with the Affordable Care Act
If you have been treated for any medical condition recently or are currently being treated for a condition when applying for a new insurance plan, it’s likely that you were denied insurance coverage or only given an extremely expensive option that may be unaffordable for you and your family. Unfortunately, in the past this has been the case for many Americans, leaving countless people uninsured. However, in March 2010 the Affordable Health Care Act was passed, allowing people with pre-existing conditions to obtain coverage with the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan.
Having health insurance is vital and having the insurance plan that is right for you and your family is of even greater importance. At Catherine Michaels Insurance Services, our California insurance professionals have intimate knowledge of the variety of insurance policies available to California residents, allowing them to provide you with the best insurance advice possible.
